The flavor and aroma of this stew is excellant. I never would have guessed that using chicken thigh meat would have such a impact on taste and on top of that adding fresh thyme. This makes for a great winter comfort food.

I love this soup and another wonderful way to enjoy is to leave out potatoes, and green beans and add celery in place of carrots. When serving add broken blue corn chips and shredded chedder. You've now got a Wonderful Chicken Taco Soup.

I made this on a cold winter day when we were not feeling very well. It really hit the spot and was easy to make.

I made this recipe exactly according to the instructions except for the hot sauce and it was wonderful. Perfect after a long cold day of work!

Super easy to put together and very low maintenance during the cooking process. While the flavor was wonderful the potato didn't add anything in my opion. Fantastic for a cold NE winder night.

This stew is more like chicken soup, but it is absolutely wonderful and sooo easy to make. Just go easy on the amount of water you add to it if you like it thick and rich rather than soup-like. I added instant mashed potato flakes to thicken it up, and it really added even more flavor to it. Although it needed more salt and pepper than I put in it b/c I reduced the sodium for my Mom who's on a restricted diet.
