I made a big pot of this stew, and it was as good for leftovers as it was the first night. This dish has wonderful, mellow and satisfying flavors (and the beer biscuits that went along with it were easy to make and delicious, too. I didn't change anything in the recipes (my partner says that's a first, except to add a bunch of italian parsley to the stew right before serving it. Why? Oh, because my Mom added parsley to just about everything.

Dave said while making this dish that it was easy, but tastey. I was impressed by how easy and how delicious it tasted (and the leftovers I froze for consumption later. The only recipe modification I made was including chopped celery (with the carrots and eliminating the green beans and hot sauce.

One of the best tasting, easiest, "better the next day" recipe I've tried. This one is hard to mess up and well worth the attention to the recipe.
