Love them. Has replaced our traditional family recipe. We make them every year now. Thank you so much!

Cloves are overpowering, and the cookies came out undercooked in 15 minutes. Something wrong with either the flour or temperature.

This is truly one of my favorite cookie recipes of all time. My boys and I have been making these sugar cookies for the past 2 years and I just fall in love everytime!

I don't know if I did something wrong, but mine did NOT turn out, at all. Not enough flour. Now, I made another batch with the same amount of flour, so I know I used 2 cups for this recipe...so has anyone else noticed a type-o or something with the amount of flour??

    Thank you

I enjoy the chocolate cookies a lot, but they're not chocolate-y enough, so I throw in some semi-sweet chocolate chips, and then they are perfection. :

I made the chocolate walnut cookies and I used cinnamon instead of cloves. The cookies had a great taste.

All of the cookies were good. I actually added dried cherries and pistachios to the basic sugar cookie and it was wonderful. The chocolate cookies were better after a few days in the cookie tin.

These cookies were outstanding! I have to say that our favorite was the almond version. I made them and took them to work. Everyone raved about them.

Just wanted to share that these are great cookies. I baked all three versions last night and got rave reviews from everyone. Perfect for the holiday season.

I almost didn't make this recipe due to clove comments, however, if you follow the recipe and use only 1/2 teaspoon cloves, you cannot taste the cloves at all. It's great for a basic sugar cookie.
