I used this recipe for my daughter's birthday. My guests loved it...so much so that I didn't have enough to serve. From then on I often make the hummus dip for my husband's lunch too and keep some handy. It's very simple and ingredients were very commonly found in our grocery (UAE.

This was my first attempt at making hummus. I liked the flavors of cumin, garlic and sesame oil. I served it with pita chips and veggies and it was well received. I have had requests for the recipe. Thanks to Dave.

it's so much easier! this is my go-to hummus recipe. it's delicious, it's easy, and you can get creative! sometimes i use rosemary or cilantro instead of parsely. sometimes i use more garlic. tonight i added some tofu to beef-up it's nutritional value... delicious! if it's not mixing well in your food processor, just add some more olive oil.

I had problems with the consistency. It was so dry that it wouldn't even blend in my food processor. The taste was ok and next time I am going to reserve the liquid from the beans to thin it out. My son studied in Jordan and Egypt and he said the taste was good but not authentic.

Loved the subtle taste of the sesame oil. I added some cayenne pepper for heat and it was perfect.

I make this once or twice a week.... it's a standard in my kitchen... I love to make "hummus burritos" with a little sliced cheese, lettuce, & a nice helping of hummus...

lol... I just made this and it taste just like hummus, but better. Ive only tried the store baught kind so this is really good to me. My kids do not like it though, but thats not suprising! I served it with grilled, soft and warm pita bread. The kids ate the bread but not the hummus. I loved it...

I made this for the 2010 superbowl party and it was a hit! I served with veggies and toasted baquette bread.....everyone loved the bread and bypassed the celery! I had some basil infused olive oil so I used half that and half regular for added flavor plus extra parsley. I doubled this recipe which made ALOT of hummus, so I had extra to share.

I made this for the 1st time yesterday - made it early afternoon to serve as an appetizer to dinner guests. We all loved it and I was asked for the recipe. I followed the recipe exactly but will modify going forward to mix it up. I served with crackers, carrots and pretzel sticks. I highly recommend!
