I've never made Clam Chowder, but gave it a shot and it was sooo GOOD. I don?t like it too ?fishy? so I did use about 2lbs potatoes, but kept the full amount of clams. Everything came out perfect, creamy and yummy! Highly recommend adding the croutons as well.

I love this approach as I can use baked potatoes, and shorten the cook time substantially. It's short, sweet, and to the point.
    Thank you!

This recipe is both wonderful to eat and easy to prepare. I have the pickiest husband in the world and he loved it. Is a new favorite in our house.

This was very simple, I cut the chicken broth down by a cup. I used 4 bottles of clam juice. My husband says this is a keeper. Do add this to your recipe file. This is really delicious.

My husband and I are now empty nesters and we finally can try some recipes that we don't have to leave things out because of our kids and we made this together in 30 minutes or less and it is fabulous! !

I made a couple minor changes - cooked the celery, onions, broth, cream, potatoes, etc. for 40 minutes; added a T of fresh Italian parsley, a couple pinches of cayenne and some nutmeg. Even our picky eaters went back for seconds.

Even my son who does not like sea food or soups liked it.
