Beautiful pie, tasted great, was messy to cut, so we had to eat more than anticipated!

I agree with one of the other reviews...the pudding was a little messy to cut, but overall, the dish was great. I reduced the amount of butter and sugar used for the crust, and didn't have any problems. When allowing the pudding to cool, I'd advice covering it with plastic wrap -- the fruit will adhere to the pudding surface a little better when you finally put it on.

Best of luck with the new show!

Seemed so easy on TV but when I tried pastry remained crumbly and would break, so could not even cut the tart properly.

I made this for dessert last night and it went over very well! It was sweet and simple enough that my two and four year old nieces liked it, but all of the adults loved it too. However, I made it with instant pudding and I only let it set in the refrigerator for about an hour. I didn't make the pudding for the pie filling instructions, I made it just for the pudding. This made it really mess when I cut it out of the pie pan. No one cared but just to warn you, it doesn't stay in a perfect little pie shape.

In response to the review above, i saw this recipe on air today and i DID SEE him put brown sugar on the cracker mix. So there you go!
I guess its very simple and yet looks elegant. Shall surely make this.
All the best to the new show on air!
