    This treat was wonderful the only thing I would do a little different would be to use: frozen (thawed Raspberries with a little sugar in a blender to make the sauce and add a few fresh Raspberries for flavor and decoration.

    I took Dave's concept. I couldn't find pound cake but I found some sliced lemon cake on sale. I used a cookie cutter to make the rounds. I made some sugar free vanilla pudding and stirred in some Cool Whip. I took some apricot jam, added the water to make the sauce. I had some blueberries for fruit. Combine at will. It was a smash hit at Mother's Day. Even my wife's mother ate every bite. I used the leftover pieces of cake to make an extra one and darned if somebody didn't eat that one as a second helping. Fabulous work, Dave!
