This was okay, but a bit too tangy for me. If I make it again, I will cut the vinegar in half or maybe add some sugar. also, there was way too much dressing for the salad, and I even added extra lettuce and tomatoes.

I will always have a stash of this dressing on hand in my refridgerator, its so good and probably pretty good for you considering it doesn't have as much oil in it. Not only is it good with red leaf, but it is good with almost any salad concoction.

I love vinegary vinaigrettes, so this is right up my alley ... I actually add extra red wine vinegar to this recipe. It is pretty tart, but wonderful. I use about 1/2 to 2/3 low/non-fat mayo and the rest is the good, fatty stuff. I've noticed no difference, since my main focus is the vinegar. Besides salads, this makes an excellent veggie dip. I'm really sorry it took me so long to find this recipe, which has apparently been around for a while. Its simplicity is amazing.

I have been making this creamy red wine salad dressing for a couple of years. I use romaine lettuce and cut in a shred and then add grape or cherry tomatoes cut in half. It make a very good salad.

I loved this dressing! I added fresh parmesan cheese to the recipe since I thought it would compliment the tanginess and it did. It added a whole new taste element and was yummy. I do think if you try this dressing plain, the tanginess will distract you but once you put it on a salad with fresh veggies, etc. it is one of the best!

The dressing is quite tart, but good. I'd tone it down a bit, not so much vinegar perhaps. Or pair it with something to balance the tartness.

This is a recipe that I would use for party gatherings as well as for my family. It's very light and refreshing with a nice "bite".

    It's one of my favorites.

I've always been weary of making my own dressing, but this turned out great! The taste was amazing.

Everyone but my husband, who doesn't like anything tart or tangy, rated this very highly. Several said they would give it a "10" if they could. The only problem anyone had, besides my husband, was that the chiffonade cutting made it a little difficult to eat. I loved the ease of making it, thought the presentation was very attractive, and loved the fresh tangy taste. I will definitely add it to my favorite recipe list.
