I haven't been fond of Brussels Sprouts in the past but this will become an often used recipe...I think the ones I've had in the past have, simply, been incorrectly been prepared.
I've found a new loved veggie!!

My husband and I couldn't stop eating this and ate nearly the whole recipe ourselves. Niether of us has ever liked brussels sprouts. Can't say enough on how great this was. You could cut down on the butter a bit, but I think if it gets you to eat brussel sprouts - well then splurge! FYI brussel sprouts are a winter vegetable. I made this in February and had no trouble finding them.

Did not turn out well. Vegetables were mushy. Yuk.

Thank you for helping me discover that I prefer fresh brussel sprouts to frozen. Also, thank you for giving me a new way to enjoy my addiction to brussel sprouts.

I hated brussel sprouts until I tried this recipe. My husband and I have now added this to our list of staple side dishes. The key is to let them cook completely through if you dont like the bitter flavor.

I am fortunate to live in small coastal town with fresh, little, Brussels Sprouts this time of year. This recipe really shows them off. I had to add a little bit of sea salt at the end since I used Trader Joe's very low sodium chicken broth. Heaven on a plate. I shared the recipe with the farmer who grew the sprouts. Need to go back tomorrow and get more.
Brussels Sprouts are, in my opinion, almost always good and usually not appreciated. This recipe is what I have been looking for when I want a quick, healthy, meal.

This is a fabulous recipe. They are tender and tasty. Brussel Sprouts should not be eaten any other way. Super easy too!
