I made this for Christmas 4 years ago and my family loved it! Even my sister's veggie-phobe boyfriend ate it! I did add one twist though--threw in some bacon. I agree with one poster who though some sage would also make it more flavorful. I was starting to panic when I couldn't find the recipe to make it this year.

I've been making this every Thanksgiving since I saw it on Food Network. This year I will be serving 15 adults and 1 toddler. I have this saved in my recipe folder. Thank you so much.

I made this for Thanksgiving and everyone wanted to have it again for Christmas. I did add bacon, plus I sauteed the veges in the bacon grease for additional flavor. Turned out Delicious!!!

I liked this ok, I gave it as Christmas gifts this year at the office and everyone enjoyed it. One lady made waffles with hers, she mixed it into her batter and said it was awesome. I personally prefer not quite so sweet granola and might try her tip for the remainder of mine.

This recipe is very bland. I added sage and poultry seasoning to leftovers (to serve with turkeyand was then a 4 star recipe!

Dave, Congrats for not only providing good recipes, great purchasing tips, but for reminding all of us foodies that getting involved with a food pantry is very necessary and worthwhile. Thanks for the great example, and this very fine recipe.

The recipe turned out good, but something, maybe spices or sausage, would definetly enhance the flavor. This recipe made so much, that I froze half of it for later. Next time I will make 1/2.
