I made this recipe today and it was a hit! The wings tasted good, but what makes them really special is the creamy cilantro dipping sauce.

I substituted lime juice with lemon juice and the dipping sauce still came out great.

Different taste from the regular hotwings or bbq wings, but really nice.

I had a jar of Chinese five spice in my pantry that I couldn't find a use for other than apple pie. This is so simple and so full of big flavor. Everyone who has tried it couldn't stop eating the wings. My only suggestion is to double the recipe. The spicy chicken along with the cool flavor of the cilantro dipping sauce is so complimentary, the food goes quick!

I threw the recipe away after dinner. My family tolerated it but I hated it. It didn't have any flavor and I followed the recipe to the letter. Yuck.

Another Father's Day hit! What I loved about this recipe was the fact that I was able to alter it a bit to make it more healthy for my father (who's trying to cut back on calories. I substituted the chicken wings for chicken tenderloins and added a bit of spicy BBQ sauce to keep them moist. They were delicious!

The dipping sauce was also great! I ran out of cilantro, however, so I had to improvise. I just substituted the cilantro for ranch dressing and it turned out great!

These wings were incredibly easy to make and the Cilantro Dipping Sauce is amazing with it. However, I still prefer barbecue wings.
