OUTSTANDING! WOW.. this is really tasty. I used a single Serrano pepper instead of the jalapeños and it wasn't hot enough Next time i think its at least 2 serranos! Complex flavors and really simple to make. Used basmati rice and it was fantastic too! cant wait to make it again

I made this for my son & myself for dinner today, and, in his words, it was "outstanding". I did switch out the basil for cilantro and had to use pasilla pepper in place of the jalapenos because my son isn't too keen on hot foods---otherwise, followed recipe exactly. I suspect using basil in place of the cilantro would also be excellent & will try that next time I make this meal. And there will be a next time because it was just that delicious! I especially enjoyed the tartness of the salsa with the sweetness of the rice & shrimp. This recipe is a keeper!

I made this for my husband and he could not stop raving about it. He even called me from work the next day to tell me how delicious dinner was the night before. I actually used the entire can of coconut milk. I also based the shrimp in coconut milk. I cannot wait to make this again.

love, Love, LOVED this recipe! The ingredient list sounds extensive, however, this is a true labor of love and worth every minute in preparation.

Picky eaters (husband even liked it as did my 1 year old. Very fresh tasting - I would make this to serve dinner guests.

Make extra salsa - it's THAT good.
