My daughter mde this after seeing the show. She rubbed it with horseradish and then followed the recipe. Absolutely delicious and even better the next day. She served the brisket with left over Thanksgiving mashed potatoes. Can't wait to make it.

I couldn't find strained tomatoes anywhere. I used Tomatoe sauce and it had to much liquid and overflowed in my oven. Tasted great though.

Very yummie, easy recipe and turned out wonderful. I halved the recipe and cut everything in half except for the sugar and it came out wonderful. I used a crock pot on the low setting for 4 hours instead of cooking at 200 degrees for 8-10 hours. I also used crushed tomatoes because I didn't have strained tomatoes and next time when I make it I won't change a thing. Maybe just add more carrots! :
