Admittedly, this was my first time making crepes. The batter tasted wonderful - with just the right amount of sweetness. I would say that crepes are a little hard to make for a novice - it took making 3 crepes before I got one right. I guess this just means I need to practice more. With this recipe, I will definitely be doing that.

I made these crepes today for breakfast. My boyfriend and I loved them. He said, "They are just like you get at the fair." My favorite crepe was with bananas and caramel with whipped cream.

This is such a wonderfully simple and delicious recipe. I made these crepes for breakfast and they were a hit! I will definitely make them again in the future. Dave is such a great addition to the Food Network lineup!

They tasted like crepes...but they were a little thick. Could have been something I did...it's worth another shot!

Last night I made the crepes for dessert, filling each with a teaspoon of nutella and a layer of thinly sliced bananas, sprinkled with confectioners sugar, with a side of whipped cream drizzled in chocolate sauce. It looked and tasted very rich and decadent. My boyfriend absolutely adored it and I couldn't help being impressed with myself : This dessert is absolutely wonderful and almost foolproof -- even if you accidently burn a crepe then you pitch it and start anew. I had some leftover batter, and we were able to use it to make breakfast this morning: sweet crepes stuffed with sliced bananas, chopped nectarines and a small dollop of fat-free coolwhip, sprinkled lightly with ground cinammon and powdered sugar. Again, fantastic, and almost healthy! Thank you so much for the recipe!

These are so easy to make, even with a regular (not a nonstick pan. They're delicious with grilled bananas and vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce!
