Tasty BUT I must complain that when a recipe states "smoking hot" it is easily interpreted as setting the temp to HI. Unfortunately I read it this way and after 2 minutes of cooking I re-read the recipe to find that it said the setting should be MEDIUM but heated until SMOKING HOT, which, at medium, my stove/griddle does not achieve. A bit contradictory and frustrating. But a good recipe otherwise.

DELICIOUS! I marinated the pork chops for only 1 hour and was surprised by the amount of flavor. Outstanding recipe.

These had a lot of flavor and was very quick and easy to make. I let mine sit for about 7 hours. I served this with Au Gratin potatos and corn. This made a great weeknight meal and would make it again.

Great Onions-extremely tender pork-Marinated for about 2 hours.-however it takes more than 6 minutes per side for a thick bone-in pork chop. FYI, I had to cook them for at least 10-12 minutes per side for it to be cooked thru-not pure white inside-just cooked thru on a screaming hot cast iron skillet. But came out delish!

WHAT A GOOD SURPRISE! MADE THIS TONIGHT WITH BONELESS 1" THICK PORK LOIN CHOPS AND IT WAS DELISH! I MARINATED FOR ABOUT 5 HOURS AND ADDED ABOUT 1 T. DRY WHITE WINE AND 1 T. HONEY TO THE MARINADE. AS FOR THE ONIONS I COOKED THEM IN ABOUT 1 1/2 T. BACON FAT AND CARRIED ON WITH THE RECIPE AS STATED. SERVED WITH ROASTED BROCCOLI AND BAKED POTATOES. OVERALL PRETTY LIGHT MEAL WITH LOTS OF FLAVOR AND THE FIRST RECIPE I HAVE TRIED OF DAVE'S. HAPPY COOKING TO ALL! :

My husband and I love this recipe! We do not eat a lot of meat, so we usually just split one chop. This recipe is tasty, very simple to make and easy to halve or double depending on your needs.

I just made this recipe as given, my husband is raving over it!!! He doesn't like mustard or vinegar but I figured I could win him over with this recipe because the reviews were so good and I did! He told me this recipe is a keeper. :
