It was really good. Both my brother and I liked it. The only thing I would change would be to either add less honey or none at all because it only stuck in a clump to the bottom.

This was quite a delicious and refreshing treat. My 6 year-old son and I really enjoyed it, even with my tweaks. I'm lactose intolerant, so I substituted the whole milk yogurt with soy-based yogurt. I didn't add whole milk. My berries and bananas weren't frozen, so I mixed in fresh fruit and added in a couple of cups of ice. I will definitely make again. :

We've been making smoothies all week and this is the only recipe so far that has yielded the perfect taste and consistency. I did make a few modifications simply because it's what I had on hand: used Greek nonfat yogurt, unfrozen bananas, 1/2 cup lowfat milk and 1/2 cup coconut water. Used honey to taste. These were excellent and a keeper for sure!!

This was a very good smoothie! I ended up adding extra yogurt (oops so I skipped the milk and it was fabulous. To the previous reviewers....you need fat, it's healthy for you. Fat keeps you fuller longer also, so you end up eating less. And honey is healthy for you! It's all about moderation. So, definitely make this smoothie and enjoy!!

This is by far the best smoothie recipe we have made, it was delicious, cold, creamy and nicely thick. We made ours with fresh blueberries and strawberries, which we chopped and froze overnight. And as far as using whole milk and yogurt, this adds up to 8g of fat per serving, which is certainly not unreasonable for anyone (approximately the equivalent amount of fat in two eggs.

Whole milk is full of fat and I would never promote a "healthy" smoothie that is made from whole milk. If you want this smoothie to be something healthy for you and your family, make it with plain Greek yogurt and add a teaspoon of vanilla extract. Swap the whole milk for fat free milk and you will then have a tasty healthy smoothie unlike the so-called "healthy" smoothie promoted here. Oh and please don't add two tablespoons of honey! Honey is sugar...just the same as regular white table sugar. So, if using fruit does not make this smoothie sweet enough for you, add a small amount of truvia or some other type of sweetener.

I didn't have any vanilla yogurt on hand so I used a strawberry/blueberry yogurt. It was delicious! My two year old loved it, too. Very simple and easy to make in the morning.
