Come on, people. You want cooking stick to cooking. If you don't like Paula use the buttons on your clicker. No one is paying you to either watch or cook. Let's use the comments for the cooking!

I made the cupcakes for friends and they loved them.

These are wonderful as is Paula. Alittle sinful but in moderation as Paula says.

This is suppose to be a place where we comment and review recipes. I love Paula Deen. I think she is smart, funny and beautiful inside and out. She reminds me of many of the women in my family. No one cares about your personal feelings or attacks. Please do not rate recipes on you personal feelings for the cook. Everything a have made of Paula's has been delightful. If you read this Paula WE LOVE YOU. Don't give that person a second thought. The food network would not be the same without you.

I haven't made this recipe yet but I certainly will. I've made plenty of your other recipes Paula and they are great. By the way: To Ron, were you born a big jerk or did it just come naturally? What a rude person you are. Betty

Was just wondering why someone who never uses Paula's recipes wastes his time listening to her show. Regarding her grammer and use of English (which should be capitalized, Don, maybe you should take some lessons from her on decentsy and humility. She makes cooking fun! And her sons and family are so very polite; obviously, you didn't grow up in her family.
By the way, I was an English major in college and, as Paula, know exactly how to use the language; however, much to my children's chagrin, I say things like "I ain't gonna do that" if the situation calls for it.
All I can say is: Thank you, Paula for making cooking and family so much fun!

Ok since I'm making these for superbowl sunday I though it would be a lot easier on myself if I used a pre-made cake mix. I decided to use yellow which came out fantastic, nice and fluffy in the center. The truffle filling was also simple to put together, however I did add some vanilla extract when I added the butter right before mixing. I let my batter set for a super crispy outside and using the rice flour certainly makes a difference. If you were scared to make this because of the demo on food network involving so many steps, cut out the home made mix and grab and pre-made one, hey you wont have to wash as many dishes!

Honestly the guest on the show did have an odd accent that was hard to place.
The information on the show said he was from Louisiana so I was actually expecting a Cajun accent and when I actually heard him I was thrown.
    Paula's comment wasn't offensive.
Paula has a warm hearted personality and can laugh at life and herself.
And Paula's cooking is far better than some of the new people that they have brought onto foodnetwork.
She has Southern soul and class.
