To peppery, not creamy enough, 2 cups of panko was tooo much. I will adjust but cutting down the pepper and leaving out the panko all together and adding more cheese on top instead. Guapo Sanctum

Okay, so they left out a few steps! Insead of covering the mix in the pan with 'bread crumbs', grind up some Goldfish Crackers in a food processor or coffee grinder and use those for the covering. Next, cover the pan with plastic wrap and then cover that with tin foil. This will keep the moisture in the pan. You can remove the coverings (plastic and foilbefore the last 10 to 15 minutes to brown them up a bit. Otherwise, it's a great recipe!

When your picky eaters eat something you make, you go with it! This recipe is so flavorful and the panko breadcrumbs are the icing on the cake! This is the best mac n cheese I have ever made!

My husband absolutely loved this recipe. He said it was probably the best macaroni and cheese he's ever had. I on the other hand did not enjoy it as much as he did. It was good, but I think I prefer yellow cheese on my macaroni and cheese rather than white cheeses. I had an issue getting the panko bread crumbs to brown for some reason. I tried cooking it longer, but that didn't help much. Overall, this was a great recipe.

I have tried many mac and cheese recipes and this is the best by far. The different cheeses can be expensive but it is well worth it. I also added cooked bacon and it was excellent! The only problem with this recipe it that you can't stop eating it!

I made this as a side dish for a big "Father's Day Feast". I was cooking for both my family and my brothers girlfriends family. It was my first time cooking for that big of a crowd and I needed something easy, but delicious and this was the perfect thing! Everyone loved it so much I ended up making a second batch the next night.

I found this recipe very easy without messing up too many dishes. It was very tasty. I will probably be making this one as another option for macaroni and cheese at family gatherings. Thank you for such a delicious recipe.

Awesome! This is fantastic mac & cheese. I had to stop myself from eating the bechemel sauce when making this. : I do agree that if you put in a full tablespoon of salt that it would be too salty. I did put about a teaspoon in and I think the salt level was ideal. I will be making this again soon!
