At my local grocery store I found an organic product to use, instead of the expensive demi-glace. It is called "Better Than Boullion" and comes in an 8 oz. jar. It worked very well and the recipe was delicious! Even my fussy husband loved it....

Pork Chops were buy one, get one free so I searched for a new recipe in which I had the ingredients on hand. This was so easy! I also used Chicken broth instead of the glace. I like way more specific directions for recipes like peel, core, and slice the apples but I figured it out. Next time, I will cook the pork chops until they are almost done (not completely done like the recipe says and then add the apples as the apples took awhile to become soft and I don't want to overcook the pork chops. I will definitely be making these again!

I did this recipie, with a few minor changes...

Used Chicken broth instead of the glaze, cubed the pork chops, and served it on white rice.

The only thing I think I'll do differently is marinate the pork chops in apple juice for an hour.

    Family loved this!

I was in Miami last week and went to the 11th street dinner. These were the BEST pork chops I have ever had in my life! I have told everone since I have been back how good they were and I am so glad that I found the resipe. I only hope that I can make them like they do. Even if your not a pork chop eater, you'll love these. Trust me! If your ever in Miami, go eat at the 11th street dinner you'll be gald that you did.

I had to try this everyone on the show RAVED about it. I added onions in with the fruit to cut the sweet and used Chicken Stock with a little corn starch instead of the Demi Glace

Good recipe, however instead of the demi-glace, I just used pork gravy with some extra brown sugar and it turned out great.
