Made this meatloaf tonight - quadrupled it and put it in a 9 x 13 baking dish. Add about 25 minutes to the cooking time, if you use 2 lbs. of ground beef like I did. The horseradish blended in just fine (I was a little worried about it! Even though the flavor didn't knock you out, it was overall a very good dish and hubby was pleased. I'm thinking it will make some EXCELLENT sandwiches tomorrow!

I have a catering company in Kansas City and made this for a tasting for a large company decision luncheon. It was a big hit....as if it was my own grandmothers recepie. I love it. I have changed the ketchup to 2/3 ketchup and 1/3 siraachi to add some spice, but short of that, I love it the way it is. Great sandwiches for our food wagon as well....always a hit!

I think this recipe is a great starting point for something better. As is, it's too much bread crumbs, ketchup, and not enough horseradish. I'd half the ketchup and breadcrumbs, add at least 1 tbsp. horseradish, and add some other veggies (carrots or bell pepper?.
I'll try this again, but not without some fairly big changes.

My boyfriend is a meatloaf lover, and his mom's is tough to beat. I decided to try this one as my very first crack at meatloaf. It seemed simple for a newbie like me, and the reviews were pretty good. It was extremely easy to put together, and in 50 minutes was cooked perfectly. The loaf was very tasty! It even met the boyfriend's approval, and he's extremely picky! :- We will be using it again. The only reason why I didn't rate it excellent is because I think it could have a teeny bit more flavor - maybe some extra Worchestershire and a little extra kick of horseradish... I also didn't use an entire cup of ketchup - just spread some over the top to coat it. Yum!

We LOVE this meatloaf. I have tried numerous recipes for meatloaf and they all taste bland or like a roaster burger...not this one!! My whole family loves this meal. You can serve it with any side, mashed, fries, veggies...anything. Super easy and Super delicious! Go Triple D!

We thought it was delicious. I'm sure we'll make this one again. We might add a little bit more horseradish next time.

Excellant comfort meal even for those whom may not care for meatloaf. Being from Texas, I added 2 cloves of garlic and a half cup of bell pepper -- it added an excellent taste to the original recipe. I highly recommend everyone who likes meatloaf to try this recipe.
