This is good enough to be a dessert. I agree with the other reviews about it being sweet. ~~ Changes I made to lower the sweetness, only 1 1/4 cups sugar, plus 2 Tlbs pure maple syrup, and only 2 sticks of butter. ~~ It was great, everyone loved it. Some at the party even skipped their diet rules for the nights just to have some. It was a quick recipe!!

This recipe is great! I did reduce the sugar to one and a quarter cup, reduced butter to 2 sticks and added vanilla. Loved by all, even the finicky eaters at the table. Definately a holiday staple!

I made this tonight, when I saw it called for 3 Cups of sugar I thought to much, so only added 1Cup. Man was it good, my whole family loved it. I will definitely make it often.

great receipe...i am always looking for something different for sweet potatoes besides the marshmello cassarole. easy to make...made it a head of time and will bake off for easter sunday dinner. I qc the souffle and wow...if it is that great uncooked; i can't wait to taste it cooked.

This recipe looks pretty good. I can't wait to try it. I just need a visual of what the end product should looks like. Does anyone have a photo or good description of it?

Delicious but as the previous reviewer noted it's a bit sweeter than expected, next time I'll use a little less sugar. Also, it does make quite a bit, for 4-6 people it could easily be halved and still be enough.

Made this for Thanksgiving this year. The recipe was easy to follow and it didn't require any special tools. This recipe makes a lot of souffle though, not for a small gathering. The finished product was a little sweeter than I thought it would be, it could almost be used as a pie filling. Overall very good and worth making if you want something a little different.
