Soo good. It is a super easy meal to make. I made my own dry rub seasoning using Bobby Flay's recipe and added a few other spices.

This is such an easy and delicious recipe I can't believe they charge so much to eat this in restaurants! I made this for a super bowl party and it was a huge hit with everyone. I used a pork shoulder picnic and deboned it after it was cooked for a few hours. After doing a little research, I came up with my own rub and used Kraft BBQ sauce. A real crowd pleaser and I will be making this many times again in the future. Thanks Robert!!

Perfect for entertaining a crowd. So easy, little tended cooking. The pulled pork was tasty and moist, everyone loved it. I'll make this again.

Delicious. I used a store brand pork rub instead of the Irvine seasoning since it is not available in grocery stores. Taste was great even before adding the BBQ sauce. Will be making this again and again!

Easy to prepare before work and very good! We love the Sweet -n- Spicy taste so I added some hot sauce to give it a little kick. This recipe is a keeper!

I've made this several times, the last for a family potluck and they ate it up. The recipe isn't clear about the onions after cooking - I remove them because BBQ just looks better w/o the onions. Next time I plan to put in some green peppers in the last hour of cooking.

My family loved it ~ my husband even said I could market this!! I did not have any of the Irvine seasoning, I used Wildtree Rotisserie Seasoning - 3 TBLS as well of 1 TBLS of Emerill's Essence. Fell off the bone. I was hesitant on only adding 2 cups of water, but the 7.5 lb roast made it's own juice. I took out the fat, bone and cloves and left the juice in with the meat. The meat was so juicy and tasty, I don't believe anyone even used any bar-b-que sauce.

Delicious and SUPER easy! A winner for a working mom. I substituted yellow onions for the red ones, slow cooked for 9.5 hrs, shredded and mixed in my store bought bbq sauce and done. I skipped the extra hour. The entire family loved it!

Very good! I didn't have the specific seasoning the recipe called for, so I made my own after doing a little research on what should be included in it. I couldn't find a pork shoulder big enough at the grocery store, and instead used carnitas. This worked just as well, but I would recommend trimming as much fat as possible prior to cooking. I ended up thowing a couple of the larger fat chunks into the pot to add flavor. They were easy to remove at the end.

I agree with other reviewers that this is more of a method than a recipe, but it works amazing well! Our pulled pork turned out amazing for pulled pork sandwiches!
