Made this about a few years ago for a barbecue and I am still getting compliments on it! Whenever pulled pork is mentioned, someone reminisces about the one I made!
I've been asked 2 more times this summer to bring this to barbecues... I highly recommend trying this recipe! It honestly can't get easier!
I used Kraft original bbq sauce and a standard store-bought pork rub/

The pulled pork was delicious!!! Pulled pork is generally pretty good, and it depends on the barbeque sauce you use I'm sure.
But it was tender, juicy and awesome. In full FoodNetwork fashion, I used half chicken stock half water which may have changed it--who knows.
You could really taste the cloves... just a light hint and it really was the best pulled pork I have ever had. Will definitely make it again!

I made this for my boyfriend and he loved it! I used my own spice blend and used Robert's method. I also made Tyler Florence's cole slaw to go with the meal....really easy and better with time.

Great! I made it for my boyfriend and he asks for it all the time now! I used the Neely's spice rub on it and the Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ stuff. It was awesome!

I have used recipes that involve making your own sauce, but using Sweet Baby Ray's is always easier and tastier.

Used 4# pork loin and covered it in dark beer/water mixture. No way the prescribed water volume would cover pork, so added additional fluid. Clove flavor almost too much. Had to cook in crock pot for almost 16 hours to get tender. But final result was tender and very tasty. We used local BBQ "Sticky Fingers-Carolina Sweet" for sauce.

Used a 4.5 lb picnic shoulder. Used my own rub, refridg. for about 1.5 hours. Crockpot on low for 7 hours, fell apart and used Tylers BBQ sauce (use 3/4 vinegar instead of 1 cup awesome.

I followed the directions using McCormick's Pork Rub and was blessed with the moistest and best tasting pulled pork EVER. I haven't heated it with the BBQ sauce yet, but I found the meat to be so good even without it. When my sister and her husband come tomorrow, I will use Montgomery Inn BBQ sauce for the finishing touch. As some of the others suggested, I plan to serve it on crusty buns with Cole slaw. They will love it!
