I have made this twice now becauase my 12 year old daughter has requested it saying it is her favorite. I make alot of pulled pork because I can buy pork loin on sale often in my town. This one is the hands down favorite. I used plain ole Grill Mates pork rub for the dry rub and marinate it about an hour. I make a batch of Neely's bbq sauce.

I cook about a 2lb roast(I buy 4lbs and have them cut it in half and wrap seperatelycook it in the crock pot on high for 6 hours. Clean out the crock and put the sauce in with the meat.
I make up a batch of Jack Stack BBQ beans using the Neely's sauce and what a meal.

This is a great pulled pork recipe. I used Emeril's Bayou Blast as the rub since that is what I had on hand along with two yellow onions for the same reason. I also use Sweet Baby Ray's Original sauce. It was easy and delicious.

Used some pork chops in the freezer, and was outstanding. Planning again for a May birthday party.

This an awesome recipe for pulled pork! I used the rub though from Tyler's pulled pork recipe since I didn't have Irvine's rub. I remove 3/4 of the onions after slow cooking since I was going to freeze the meat and use it for different purposes later, which left it more flexible. I added the BBQ sauce from Tyler's Ultimate Ribs recipe and I was told it's the best pork ever. So I'm very happy and will be using this again!

I made this yesterday and it turned out perfectly. I used a pork tenderloin I had on hand. It was very lean. I didn't have the Irvine Spice rub so I used Cajun seasoning. In addition to the cloves, I also "speared" in about 5 garlic cloves. Great flavor and my husband loved it!

This is easy and very delicious. I used a smokey misquite seasoning instead of the one in the recipe and Sweet Baby Ray's Bbq sauce. Very good!!

This recipe is awesome and super easy. My husband wonders why I don't make this all the time! It taste like you have been slaving for hours making everything from scratch! Good for a group too!

I made this today and WOW is what everyone had to say. I admit that I was skeptical with the cloves, but they added just the right amount of flavor without being overpowering. I cut the recipe in half, smaller roast, didn't BBQ sauce it, and put it in my small crock pot for @ five hours (only has on and off. We just couldn't get over how flavorful and juicy it was! We love ours with hot sauce and slaw on a bun. I will definitely use this recipe again and make extra, for planned leftovers, if there is any : This will be great at the next family gathering. If I could rate this higher, I would, this was outstanding!
