The sauce was very good, the textures worked nicely and nothing was overpowering. My 3 teenagers and the adults all enjoyed this. It was easy to prepare and will be put in my recipe box.

The only things I added was 3 cloves of garlic and half a jalapeno to the sauce. This is to die for. So easy to make and the most wonderful taste. As my son was eating, he couldn't stop saying how good it was. I will try it over egg noodles next time and there will definetly be a next time. If I could give it 10 stars, I would have.

everyone loves that red pepper and tomato sauce. this is an easy and appealing dish. i use white meat strips. the only problem my family has is that i can only make so much i may have to convert to a crock pot a large one.the rice is great too i dont even see a salt shaker being used at dinner which i aim for.p.s. i use sliced stewed tom's they look so nice. believe me this caccatori recipe makes the others taste like spaghetti sauce. thanks

This dish was very tasty and not hard to prepare. I think it's very pleasing to the eye and to the tastebuds as well. I am a dark meat lover so i bought thighs and drumsticks and it worked out quite well. I'm sure you can use a whole chicken cut up and it would be just as good. I would highly recommend it.
