I have made this without the sourcream and red onion and it is still WONDERFUL. I took it to a party on our sailboat and wanted something without mayo or milk products. It is better the next day. Great salad for this time of year with the tomatoes, cucumbers and corn fresh from our farmers markets.

My friend and I made this recipe for the first time with about 15 friends coming for dinner. Thank goodness we doubled the recipe! We served it with grilled chicken and parsley potatoes and there were NO leftovers!

A great summer salad without mayo. For a large group I added some orzo and beefed up the dressing amounts. A great, easy, recipe for a change from the heavy mayo salads. Add and subtract what you like. I added red pepper and used olive oil. Some nice flavor differences between the veggies and dressing.

I love making this dish when we BBQ. It is always a big hit especially when we grill the corn.

I just made this for Easter dinner. My husband, who is picky about vegetables, absolutely LOVED this. It was tangy from the vinegar and sour cream but sweet from the corn. I was worried about it because, like I said, my husband DOES NOT like cucumbers. He ate so much of this salad, I was worried we wouldn't have enough for everyone else. I am very satisfied with this salad. Mr. Irvine is a stickler for FRESH. This is fresh! Superb recipe Mr. Irvine, superb.

Just made this salad to go with steak tacos and it is delicious. So bright and fresh with lots of flavor. I boiled sweet corn on the cob for ten minutes (in husks and then cut the corn an put it in the salad. Will definitely be making this again! Mmm

wouldn't have thought of the sour cream, but it worked and this was delicious. made it twice--it is a little better with fresh corn than canned.

Had to try this because of all the good comments... made it for a dinner party and everyone loved it!!! I added green peppers and feta cheese crumbles to it to add even more flavor and I used frozen sweet white corn. Definitely will make it again and even had to print off the recipe for guests.

Just made this salad for dinner tonight to accompany grilled chicken. I couldn't stop eating it after mixing all the ingredients together. Thank you Robert.
