- 1/2 to 1 cup ripe strawberries, rinsed, stems intact
- 1 sprig fresh mint
- 2 to 3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
- 1/3 cup sour cream or creme fraiche
Put the strawberries in a serving dish and garnish with the mint. Put the sugar and sour cream in two separate small dishes or ramekins. Serve. To eat, dip the strawberries first in the sugar and then into the sour cream.
