    did you really toast the coconut for 17 hours? I am not in the house long enough to try this one.

    I followed the directions exactly on this pie and the "crust" did not turn out good. It wasn't really like a pie crust and it did not firm up and set like it was supposed to. It was all crumbly. I'd recommend making a pie with a graham cracker crust instead.

    Maybe I'm biased, but if it involves a double boiler then I don't think it deserves a rating of easy. My family loved it and I'm now expected to make it at every Thanksgiving. Also, I would recommend upping the amount of chocolate called for the crust.
