This recipe was very enjoyable to do and different. Everyone in my household enjoyed this BBQ Spaghetti and so did I.

This is my first recipe that I made from one of the shows. I was a bit disappointed because the dish is just too sweet. I would recommend cutting back on half of the sugar. You do need a little sugar to cut the sourness of the vinegar. However, I do think the sauce will be great with some chicken that has smoked on the grill. Just not right for pasta.

You can't think this will taste like grandmas spaghetti in anyway, because you will be thrown. It is very different, but really good.

I changed the receipt a little by using whole wheat spaghetti. I cooked the spaghetti with chicken broth. When I mixed your homemade sauce with the pasta I poured a little of the juice from the spaghetti with it and it added such a great flavor. LOVE THE IDEA FOR THIS MR.& MRS. NEALY.

The recipe intrigued me, but I was not sure how we would like it. I used chopped, cooked bacon instead of ground meat, and used minced garlic instead of garlic powder, and no pepper or onion.

I could not believe how quick and easy the sauce was to make, and it was just the right amount for a pound of cooked spaghetti, and it was WONDERFUL! We will definitely make it again and again.

    I recommend this to anyone!

I am wondering how much garlic to use if I would use fresh, roasted garlic.

I've made this twice, I just love the sauce. Family thought it was great too. Goes fast. Some folks with bigger appetites might need to double the recipe.

I made this using chicken. It was good however it did not have enough sauce for the noodles that it called for. The sauce was good but a tad bit sweet for me. If I made it again I would double the sauce but not as much sugar.

We Texans favor a more smoky sauce, I had a tough time with the sweetness. I couldn't finish my plate and didn't save the leftovers. However, I LOVE the Neelys and look forward to trying more of their recipes.

This recipe was so good. There are other reviews that said that the sauce was too sweet. BBQ sauce sweetness/tangyness is a preference. If you don't like your BBQ sauce sweet, you may want to reduce the amount of sugar. I love sweeter BBQ sauces, so this was perfect. It also had a little bit of a kick to it which was pleasantly unexpected. I will definitely make this again!

You can also make the sauce as a standalone. I am a BBQ sauce lover, and have now discovered a new favorite when I make chicken or other meats!
