    Wow. I found several recipes that looked good but decided to try this one because of the ratings. I, too, added garlic (one clove and didn't have cream so used half and half. I served it with shredded cheese on top and it was just delicious. Loved it.

    I made this soup. Didn't like it for some reason it came out too sweet. Follow the direction don't know where I went wrong.

    I made the soup this evening and it was very good. I too added cloves of garlic, but next time will put the soup in the blender. It tasted a bit gritty due to the broccoli.

    I loved this soup....easy and declicious. I added one large clove of garlic to the sautee mixture. Yum!

    This was a such a simple recipe! I thought it was delicious, but unfortunately, Im the only one in the house that really like broccoli, so I was the only one to eat it. I would make this dish occasionally, maybe for dinner guests.

    This recipe is amazing. The soup is fantastic. It takes almost no time at all to put everything together, and the flavor is out of this world. This is one of my all time favorite soups to make and eat!

    This soup was REALLY delicious! I added some garlic in with the veggies, because I'm a garlic addict... and my husband insisted I add cheese. (I slowly melted in 4 oz Velveeta AFTER I'd pureed the soup in the blender?just enough to add a cheesy flavor without it overpowering the delicious broccoliness. And it was lovely! : I've made it twice!
