This was a good recipe, I liked it alot. My husband wasn't crazy about it, either was one of my daughters, but my other daughter and I thought it was really good. It is a great summer salad, a nice variation. Cool, refreshing, and subtle. The corn was delicious. I broiled it instead of grilling it, the first time I have ever actually broiled corn and I LOVED the way it tasted broiled. As with most of the Neely recipes, it was a little sweet. I had the Neely's BBQ seasoning pre-made and next time I make it I think I may just skip over the sugar all together. But overall good recipe.

Did everything according to the recipe except I threw in a couple of finely chopped basil leaves from my herb garden. This was great, and grilling the corn wasn't a big deal and worth the effort. Don't grill too long though or it gets a little mushy. I was going for all over grill marks on corn (for the "looks" and did it a little longer than suggested. I think the fact that it doesn't have the usual vinegar dressing -and instead has the lemon juice makes it very refreshing. This is my new summer salad for events and home. Yum!!

This recipe is flavorful. I did add goat cheese, because everything is better with cheese. My family loved this recipe...I will definitely make this one again...very easy to make.

I made this recipe for my culinary nutrition class and it was a HUGE hit. You can adjust the seasonings any way you want to make it sweeter, saltier, etc. It's a simple refreshing salad that looks beautiful and tastes just as good!

This salad is unique and delicious. It is simple to create, you can prepare it a day before serving and it's still great. It's also super to bring to picnics because there's no mayo to spoil, so it's safe to serve all day.

A quick tip - if you're going to make it ahead of time, it's a good idea to prep everything else, add the dressing and then add the arugula before serving so it doesn't wilt too much. It'll still be good, but the fresher the arugula the better.

1 1/2 cups of paprika does not go into the recipe. No wonder you didn't like it. The recipe for the spices at the end of the recipe is to make a bunch of it ahead to store in a container for future use. The recipe says to add the Neeley spice "TO TASTE". I have not made this yet, but intend to. It looks wonderful. Just couldn't let the 1 1/2 cups of paprika comment go by.

You know what? I was looking at this recipe and I was wonderin' how all the ingredients was goin' to come together, but girl, this salad is GOOD!! It was the first time I tried arugula, the smell of it reminded me of mustard greens. But you know what? This salad is EXCELLENT!! The dressing was right on for this dish. Y'all are the cutest couple. I enjoy watching to see what you guys are going to cook up next.
