Pat, you really are the bbq king! I don't care for the Memphis-style dry rub, so I use the Kansas City style rub, but I use this bbq sauce. I will never buy bbq sauce again. This one is so easy to make and so delicious. It takes 3 hours to cook the pork ribs, but it's so worth the wait. They are so tender. Thanks Neelys.

My husband & I have never been able to get ribs just right, but we did it using this recipe. The taste was phenomenal & cooking them low & slow was definitely the key to getting them tender. We will absolutely use this recipe again & again. It was a crowd pleaser!

they might be great.. The rub is fantastic.. the sauce is flat amazing thank you.. I was doing ok until I had to put the ribs over the flame.. even on low low, it still burned them to a crisp. Was I supposed to baste them with the sauce or is that simply for the table?
Thank you your recipes are amazing..

Incredible! Emeril has his 'essence,' but that doesn't hold a candle to your dry rub -- I call it the ESSENTIAL. I think that your rub is the 2nd best I've ever tried. The best starts with yours, but I add the same amount of garlic powder as onion powder and 2 tsps of cayenne pepper. MMMMM. Give it a try. The garlic is pleasant and the cayenne is in the background, leaving a little tingle on the lips but not a scorch on the palate.

Got my new grill with the side smoke box and couldn't wait to try this recipe! I followed the recipe to the letter(seasoned the ribs the night before and smoked them for 3 hours using the hickory wood chips. The result was pure, smoky goodness! The only thing i'll do different next time is to experiment with different sauces but the core recipe is a winner!! Thanx Pat and Gina(and of course Food Network!
