Awesome sauce and very simple to make... I made this as a dipping sauce and everyone loved it. Almost ran out, I will make a double batch next time!

Great recipe...so easy and flavorful. The only change I make is that I substitute dark brown sugar for the light and I omit the white sugar.

This sauce is really good! I used what I had left for ketchup; probably 1.5 cups, omitted the white sugar, and added a teaspoon of liquid smoke. I was afraid that the sauce would be waaay too vinegar-y, as it stung the nostrils as it was cooking. But, if you let it run its course of an hour and a half or so, you'll end up with some sweet, smooth barbecue sauce. Give it time and patience!

This sauce is sooo good! I accidently put in powdered garlic for the powdered onion, but still added the onion. That made it even better. I also omitted the granulated sugar- thought it'd be too sweet with the brown sugar. Put this sauce on Paula Deen's Texas beef brisket and you'll wanna slap your momma! Way to go Neely's.

I'm from Texas , so I'm always up for good BBQ, and sauce. I did make this sauce, and it is good. I also added a few things. I have read that some people think it missing something. I made a double batch, so what I added was, 1 tablespoon of garlic powder, and 1 tablespoon of liquid smoke, and a dash of tabasco sauce. I'm comming from Jack Daniels BBQ sauce, I like things spicy, but can not wait to try this sauce on the grill this summer.

This sauce is wonderful. I did cut the sugar I add in half. Only used 3 tablespoons. The ten tablespoons in the recipe was too sweet for me!
