This recipe is perfect for anything. I make a big batch and keep it in the frige. I have used it for a sauce and to add a kick to my sloppy joes.

I've made homemade bbq sauce in the past and wanted to try something new. This sauce was very tasty, although I like my mom's recipe better. Good recipe though, Pat! And Gina, love ya but you really need to tone it down. You're very distracting at times, otherwise great show and great recipes!

I made this last evening to be used with some ribs I am making tonight. I almost had to make another batch, everyone in the house kept tasting it!!!!
This is the best tasting BBQ sauce I have ever made. I did add some liquid smoke (mesquite flavored and some hot sauce just to ramp it up a tad.
THANKS!!!! You guys are great!

I made this sauce to use with chicken on Mother's Day and everyone just raved. It is important to cook it the full two hours and to stir it at least every 10 - 15 minutes. The flavors just blended together nicely. This is a keeper.

This Sauce is fantastic! I have a cousin in South Carolina who makes a great BBQ sauce that my family just raves over, and this recipe is pretty darn close! It is really simple to make and I had almost everything needed for the sauce in the house already. Now I find myself looking for things to put the BBQ sauce on! Absolutely great!!!

I have finally found a recipe for BBQ sauce that is actually very good. Tried it the other night when we grilled some chicken and it was wonderful. Thanks for a fantastic recipe that is simple and quick.
