I made this cake for my husband and I and he loved it! So did I!I used 2 cups heavy cream instead though but I found out that if you cool it right( 3-4 hours, it won't be soggy. If you fix it and serve it right after fixing, it doesn't give the jello enough time to solidify in the cake and then it will be soggy.
Tonight, I'm making it again for my husband and my friends! I know they'll love it!!!!

**Also, you can use frozen sugared strawberries (you can find them at Walmart.**
**You can use Cool Whip instead of from scratch (but I like to do it from scratch**
""You can do this recipe with different fruit toppings and jello fillings...Tonight I'm using Strawberry Banana jello**

My husband had a friend and the friends wife over for dinner at last minute and thankfully I had just made this cake. Mine turned out a little soggy, so next time I won't use as much of the jello, but other than that it was delish!!!! Everyone loved it and his friend wanted to take some home!

I made this cake last night on my husband's birthday. It was delicious! ! I too used a yellow cake mix and cool whip. It turned out just right, very moist. A huge hit with the kids too!!

I made this cake as a compliment to Bobby Flay's Tandoori Chicken and it was super! After reading the reviews, I decided to use a yellow cake vs. a strawberry cake. I did make the cool whip--so great! My guests loved both the chix and the cake!

I MADE THIS SATURDAY AND BY LUNCH TIME SUNDAY IT WAS COMPLETELY GONE. IT WAS DELICIOUS! THE ONLY THING WAS.. I USED ONE CUP OF HEAVY CREAM WHICH THE RECIPE CALLED FOR AND I DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH TO COVER THE CAKE SO I MADE MORE. THE SHOW DID CALL FOR TWO CUPS. OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS WONDERFUL. I WILL ALSO TRY IT WITH YELLOW CAKE MIX AS WELL.

KEEP THE RECIPES COMING, WE LOVE YOUR SHOW!!!

This recipe solidified my stance as a budding chef within the family. My uncle took some of the cake to work and his coworkers were calling and asking me to make some for them!
    Easy, fast and delicious.

I made this easy cake with yellow cake, no cognac ( I was giving it to kids and I used Cool whip topping. I also didn't cover the whole cake with whipped cream, I just dolloped it on individual slices. Very easy and all ages enjoyed it.
