These are very delicious, and will fulfill my chocolate needs this week! When I first assembled the batter it seemed very "runny" and I panicked. I considered adding more flour, but I baked four just to try it and they came out perfect for me. I baked the rest and am very happy with the recipe! Just delivered some to my fabulous hair dresser for Christmas. Love the Neeleys!

I thought that these cookies were great! I was worried about the consistency of the dough after reading the other reviews, but my cookie dough was so think that I had a hard time stirring in the pecans and chocolate chips! I think the trick is to make sure that you beat the eggs, sugar and vanilla on a medium-high speed for at least 3 minutes. I used my stand mixer set to 6 and beat them for about 4 minutes and it was nice and thick. Hopefully that helps with the runniness that others experienced.

Never thought that a chocolate chip cookie recipe could fail. But this one did. The cookies did not hold their shape and just crumbled. I got a large batch of delicious crumbs though.

The recipe turned out terrible! Something wrong with the batter measurements and possibly ingredients in my opinion!! I ended up with flat cookie pan sized mess!! However it does taste like a cookie but nowhere near resembles one!!

These were delicious, quit possible the best cookies I've ever had! When making these, i discovered i only had 5 eggs so i didn't use all 6 the recipe asked for. The batter did seem a tad runny, but it was not a problem at all these baked perfectly and taste wonderful!

The recipe is great and it isn't wrong (seeing that so many people had favorable results user error would be my guess in any failed batches perhaps. I had no problem as long as you do things to detail and aren't a novice. Good equipment probably doesn't hurt; I would think without a stand mixer this would be a more difficult recipe. The small alone is worth the effort!

I went through the trouble of registering just so I could comment. The recipe is either wrong, or they haven't included enough info about how to deal with a batter that is more the consistency of cake. I've wasted the money on the chocolate and have a disaster to show for it. I'm very disappointed in this recipe. It should be right if it's on foodnetwork.com in my opinion.

I thought the batter was too runny at first but I just let the batter sit for about 10 mins then it was thick enough to work with I let the cookies cook for the full 14 minutes and waited until they cooled to move them. They came out beautiful, and I'm taking them to friends as a gift. All in all good recipe good cookies I recommend them.

My 10 year old daughter made these cookies today all by herself. She followed the recipe exactly and they turned out perfect. I must mention though that until she put in the pecans, the dough was runny. They are perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. These are so good that we are now including them in our Christmas cookie baking day. These are AWESOME !!

The cookies are wonderful but I think there is a mistake in the ingredient list. I think the amount of flour should be 3 cups not 3/4 cup. I based the amount on my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe and the triple threat cookies came out perfect.
