They were OK but lacked something so I made them again added additional chocolate syrup and peanut butter(in the batter and mixed with an electric mixer . I still swirled peanut butter on top , this gave them a better texture and richer flavor

After making this recipe exactly as stated, my entire family felt that the texture of the brownies was too hard to get past to find them pleasing to eat. They have a very rubbery texture. Also, we were hoping for more of an intense chocolate flavor but the pumpkin completely overwhelmed the flavor of the chocolate. I would not make this recipe again in the future, and the remainder of this recipe founds its way into the trash.

I'm sorry, but this was a total waste of ingredients. Am tossing
it in the trash...I followed directions explicitly but did not like
the pumpkin/chocolate combination or the gooey texture. I certainly
did taste the pumpkin--in fact, it overwhelmed the chocolate.

These look really tasty, but the texture is very rubbery and they taste bland. You can definitely tell they are a low fat dessert (and not in a good way.

Just made tonite. First I hate pumpkin. I didn't even taste a hint of it in the "fudge". Used a tad bit under 2 cups and my mix was a family size box. They don't taste like fudge to me, more like brownies. Used 9x9 pan but they weren't as big as in picture, 36 squares in 9x9 pan. They were not gooey at all, baked for 35 min. Hoping will be more fudge like by tomorrow in fridge but I don't think they were bad at all. If I wasn't watching cals/carbs I would have had another square.

The overall flavor was good but it had a rubber-like texture and I ended up throwing most of it away.

I made this exact to her recipe and it really is good! I took it to work for more opinions and not one person has said they did not like them. Not as sweet as a normal fudge brownie which I like as well. You can taste a hint of something but nobody has been able to guess that it was pumpkin. I'll be making these a lot! Thank you Hungry Girl!

I love this baked fudge recipe. I used Ghirardelli chocolate supreme brownie mix. I let the brownie cool for a bit. Then wrapped the pan it foil and placed in the frig for about 4 hours. Really good fudge and silky smooth.

I really liked this recipe! There is a good pumpkin flavor that I really enjoyed. It doesn't have the texture of fudge at all though. I tried a piece when it was still warm and I definitely liked it better fully cooled...the texture is much better. My husband and I liked this a lot and would absolutely make it again.
