This recipe is really good. I think the trick to masking the "pumpkin" flavor is to make sure the peanut butter gets into every piece. I cut the pan into small squares and then bagged them in pairs for the freezer. Easy to grab one or limit yourself to two. Yummy frozen straight out of the freezer and still semi-soft -- not hard. Definitely meets a chocolate craving.

These are very good!!! I'm not a fan of pumpkin but wanted to try this as a low-fat option to brownies. I detect detect pumpkin flavor and love the chocolately taste! My son loved it also and said he couldn't taste the pumpkin either. Not sure what the complaints are about, unless people were expecting fudge. I was expecting brownies. These are denser than normal brownies which is fine. This will become a dessert staple at our house!

Ok they are a bit strange in texture, but they're not too bad. My boyfriend and I made these and he didn't let them cool enough before trying to cut them. They were a gooey mess. They are super moist, and I didn't notice the taste of pumpkin in the final product, but I could taste it when trying the batter prior to cooking. I was nervous that they'd be gross. When they're very cold, they're really not too bad. I don't think my kids will like it though...hard to food them into eating vegetables. ;-

LOVE this recipe. People need to relax, it's obviously not going to taste like real fudge, it's a low-fat alternative. And yes it tastes a bit like pumpkin, it's in the recipe! Do not eat this out of the oven, you have to eat it after it sits in the fridge for a couple hours. I think it's perfect for a peanut butter-chocolate fix.

When I saw her make this on the show I was excited to try it. I'm so sorry to say that it was terrible. Some things are just not meant to be made healthy, and fudge is one of them. This recipe doesn't resemble fudge, nor does it remotely taste like it. I'm sorry to say Hungry Girt, but no one would be "fooled" by this recipe.

EWWWWWWWW!!!! I love pumkin and I love chocolate but this is a desaster. I am makinging it right now and I changed it to one can of Sweet potato puree and 1/2 cup egg beaters 2 Tablespoons dark chocolate syrup and 1/4 cup extra dark chips. I know it has a little more sugar not much more but a little more but Dark Chocolate is very good for you and its only a 1/4 cup. I did melt the peanut butter as directed to use and now just waiting for them to come out of the oven. Smell Yummy. I'll let you know .

I love this recipe. I did change 2 things after reading the reviews I added 1 1/2 tps of pumpkin pie spice (next time I will try 2tsp and I used the special dark choc syrup. Not sure how much difference it made compared to orig recipe but I liked it. I am sure it changed the calories some but I cant imagine it did by that much. Wanted to try this with the sugar free brownie mix but hubby said no. Next time I'll do it that way when he is not looking. : I will make this alot
