My husband and son really liked this. I thought it was a little bland under the topping, so think next time I will incorporate a little parmesan for some extra flavor.

I love this recipe and I mixed up the provolone cheese with parmesan cheese some how. I loved the taste of the asiago with the parmesan cheese and thought it was amazing. The taste is much stronger which I like than with the provolone. We made it again with the provolone and it was good as well but I prefer the parmesan. Add some bacon to the noodle mix as well and life it great!

To boring under the topping. I would make the noodle layer thinner next time.

I was so excited to try this recipe. THe topping was amazing but the inside lacked flavor--- it was rather bland. I would add some additional spices and maybe some cheddar cheese. It was good, but probably would not make it again.

As soon as I saw the ingredients for this recipe, I had to try it. So glad I did as it was fantastic. I added more cheese and milk as suggested by other reviewers, but probably could have used more to get a really creamy filling. I made extra bacon so that I could add some to the filling as well as that marvelous topping. I added some Parmesan into the topping (you never can go wrong adding some Parm!. All of the flavors were wonderful. This one is definitely a keeper.

I tweeked the recipe a little bit because I don't have any fancy cheeses lying around the house and when I saw this recipe I wanted to make it ASAP! I used mozzarella and taco blend cheese just in their bags from the super market. I doubled the cheese content because each bag of cheese was 8 oz. and from reading other reviews, adding more cheese made sence. I didnt use scallions because I dont like them, I just used a small onion. When it says to add water to the sauce, it makes so much more sence to add chicken stock. Almost anytime they tell you to add water to a savory recipe, it is an opportunity to add flavor. That's why I always use stock instead. Also, instead of mac, I used small shells. Anyways, after all my tweeking it came out amazing, the seasonings from the taco blend cheese gave it such a great flavor. It was so creamy and my family loved it. The only other thing I would change would be to add more bacon through out the mac n cheese and not just on top. I will definatly make this again . . . my way of course :

I really loved this recipe!! The cheese was really creamy for me, because I added extra after reading the other reviews. I omitted the scallions and onions, and tossed in chicken.....it was absolutely delicious!!

I made this today. It was awesome! I did make a little extra cheese sauce, after reading the reviews. I like my Mac & Cheese to be moist and have some sauce. So I used about 5-6 ounces each from both kinds of cheeses. Added a little bit more milk.Used bacon on the topping as well as the filling. Everything else satyed the same. The topping was the best! I am hoping to use that topping on other casseroles I make. It's heavenly.

I would like to suggest in using good qaulity Asiago and Provolone. They have a very distinctive flavor. Just loved how everything came together.

We all loved the different taste of this mac and cheese. I have 4 kids and they all loved it as did DH who is not a mac and cheese guy.

I doubled the recipe. And added bacon to the cream sauce- oh and had to add in Reggiano Parmeseano to make up the doubling of the cheese. So I used the 4 ozs each of Provolone and asiago. then 8 ounces of the parm. It worked great.

The only change I would make next time is to saute the green onions. They tasted a bit too raw to me. But that topping was moist and yummy.
    A keeper!
