I have made this recipe the last two Halloweens for my son's class. This is a pretty easy way of making cupcakes from scratch and they are always super delicious!

I am making this for a halloween party! I can not wait! I have been searching the web for this recipe and was SO happy when I saw that it was a recipe used at Charm City Cakes. A note to the reviews below, while watching the video, if you scroll your mouse over the video a little icon will pop up to the right above the video and it will take you to the recipe so you do not have to write it from the video.

Through the magic of Video On Demand, I've got the measurements for this:
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    5 oz. room temperature butter
    3/4 c. pumpkin puree
    6 egg whites
    splash of vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. mixture of cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    ** 1 1/2 cups flour
    1 c. mini chocolate chips
350F, bake for about 10-12 minutes. Note: With the magic of kellyjade288_10136843, added correction. That's what I get for scribbling down the ingredients on a post-it...

Well the recipe even with the magic of video on demand, you forgot to add the 1-1/2 cups of flour. The recipe needs the flour to exist.

Please re-post this recipe, as it seems to be missing quite a few ingredients.

    Thank you,

I love Charm City cakes and I did not realize until I was reading this recipe that it is his recipe for the famous and very popular Pumpkin chocolate chip cake!! They use it on the show all the time and has gotten rave reviews from many people. I am so excited to try it! My husband is in the Army and deployed right now but I will be making this as soon as he returns from Iraq! He is a huge fan of the show too.

I am by no means great at baking, but these "mini cakes" would make you think that I am one of the best. The buttercream was an awesome addition to something that could stand alone. Thanks Duff!
