OMG this is the best thing I ever ate. We had two of the three loaves we made done in less than an hour. We froze the third one so we can see how it tastes after it defrosts. It was a long process to get it finished but in the end well worth the time and effort. Thanks duff and family for the recipe.

WOW!! Even my picky 13 year old liked it. He cut it in half lengthwise
stuffed with ice cream and froze it. We are not much for sweet deserts so only put half the sugar and added tsp of cardimin. It does
take a while to make but worth every minute. Next time we have guests they are going to be treated to it.

This is the best apple strudel ever!!! The pineapple in with the apples really adds a different dimension to this. I also added a homemade caramel sauce to this just before serving. THE BEST DESSERT EVER!!! I can't stop eating it. MMMMMMM

I made this for family dinner last night. It got rave reviews. My sister even said it was "the best apple dessert I have ever eaten". This recipe was pretty hard and time consuming though, so even though it was really delicious, I probably won't make it again unless I have a lot of time on my hands.
