This is a great twist on an old recipe. It was a wonderful way for me to get my children to eat vegetables.

Because my husband is allergic to shell fish, I simply added shredded pork to the recipe. We all loved this recipe so much, that I have made it for family and friends. This is one of my favorite things to cook.

I didn't have all of the exact ingredients to make this, so i altered the recipe a bit... but man, was it good! The shrimp and bacon are fabulous in the dish. I'll never eat plain mac and cheese again!

Soo rich and creamy, you will be wishing you had not spooned that second helping on your plate. While rubbing your belly, you will be contemplating going in for thirds!

My wife will be getting dessert served to her tonight for replicating this awesome recipe!

Every time Jan cooks with Michael he makes a masterpiece. The mac & cheese is sublime. I used bacon & shrimp but next time may try it without the shrimp (to save money since other folks seemed to enjoy it shrimpless. You should give Jan his own show.

I have made this dish no less than ten times since I got the recipe. Everyone I feed it to loves it and requests take home portions. If you are in the mood for serious stick to your ribs high calorie comfort food...This is the dish for you.

My only comment is I should have added more shrimp. Next time I will add (3 lbs of shrimp or more and look harder for the Tasso ham. Difficult to find the ham in the New England States.
    Thank you Jan and Michael.

This was a decent dish, but not worth the time & money involved in preparing it. I probably will not make again. Perhaps, I'll toy around with the recipe because I loved the idea of spinich & shrimp in a mac & cheese dish.

This is a great dish to do for about 5 or 6 people. The shrimp adds the perfect spark to this dish. Might want to go lighter on the bread crumbs because it dries it out if you use a lot. Also, double the amount of cheese for a thicker and richer sauce. Great dish!!
