This was very good. I tried two ways.
Did it in 2 stages...Grated potatoes and prep everything else the night before. Cooked baskets for 30 mins. Reheated baskets for 20 mins, then added eggs. It was soggy and the potatoes were dark...but good.
    Yolks were cooked not runny.

Second way...follow direction. Use large eggs. Didn't add cheese so you don't put it back under broiler. Thats why the yolks cook. We like the yolk runny. I sprinkled some sharp parmesan when I took them out. Excellent!!:

This looked amazing and super easy on tv but when I tried it, it didn't work out right! The eggs took way too long to cook. The whites were taking so long that the yolks cooked, too. I was really looking forward to making this and really wanted the yolks to stay runny. I made it without any meat, but that wouldn't have made any difference. They were still edible but they were a little dry without the runny yolk. I'm a little disappointed.

I tried this recipe at home & it was delicious. I am making it this weekend for our Sunday Morning Coffee Klatche at church. I will let you know how it goes after Sunday Morning but I am sure it will be a winner as it was at home.

The reviews that complain of sogginess or mushiness did not make it right. At first you don't succeed, try, try again!

Potato basket was mush. If cooked any longer would have burned. Great idea but :-(

Super Fab Brunch dish....I used the bag hash browns, Southwest style for some flavor and I like my eggs on the softer side so I only put them in for about 4 minutes after the intial 30 minute cooke off., then I crumbled goat cheese on top with some chopped up thinly sliced ham and threw it under the broiler for another 3 to 5 minutes just a hit of color on the goat cheese,,,,,,the broiler cooks the egg a bit more and gives you that added crips....if you like them harder keep them under an extra minute or two...

These looked so unique and delicious on the show, but it came out soggy and too eggy! The cheese & bacon (I altered a bit.... was a nice flavor on the top, but not sure if I liked the "whole egg" bite on the inside. Overall it wasn't bad and my family ate it without complaints, but not sure if I'd make it again. Was nice to try, though!

To save time I used frozen hash browns. Unthawed them then followed the recipe. Used regular sized muffin tin because our local store didn?t have the jumbo size. I cooked some scrambled eggs and added them in the potato cups after the potatoes were done. I chopped up some bacon and cooked in the microwave for a few minutes. Then added the maple syrup added the cheese to the top of the eggs and cook under the broiler as per the directions. I also made some home made English muffins that I found on the All recipe site. Oh so gooooood. Thank you Sunny, Love your recipes.

Wonderful recipe! Came out great and I've made these for breakfast gift baskets. I always include a copy of the recipe and give all the credit to Sunny! Thanks!
