We added chicken, which we definitely thought it needed, but overall the taste was great!

Made this last night. I made the full serving of peanut sauce for half the servings of pasta and veggies. I realized after making the sauce that I didn't add water. But it made for a nice, thick sauce. May make this same mistake next time. Really easy recipe - saved to my favorites.

I'm with the other reviewers who said they feel mislead by all the raving reviews. This recipe is great in theory, but the sauce ruins it all. I just finished making it and am upset at wasting all that money on food that I had to throw away. Nothing I did seemed to save it. My boyfriend -- who tries and eats anything I make, even if he doesn't think it's that fantastic -- found this inedible and spit it right back out. I have to agree with his conclusion, and I can't seem to get the taste of rice vinegar and soy sauce out of my mouth. Those flavors were so prominent in the sauce. We ordered a pizza instead so we'll at least have SOMETHING edible for dinner.

The individual components of this dish are wonderful, but the sauce lacks character and flavor. I followed the recipe, but would make quite a few adjustments if I made this dish again. Because I thought all green for the veggies would be bland and boring, I added sweet red bell pepper, which really helped with the visual appeal of the dish. That was the only change I made. The sauce, in my opinion, needs some ZOW. Up the ginger, lime, scallion, and heat for starters. Also, I expected more of an Asian peanut sauce, which this was not. I may try it again, but I'm looking for a GREAT peanut sauce so I may need to look elsewhere.

I love this recipe. I probably make it once a week for lunch, but I tweak it slightly. I prefer to use garlic chile sauce in place of red pepper flakes. I sometimes add 1/2 tsp of sesame oil and toasted sesame seeds in place of peanuts. Usually I'm too lazy to get out the food processor, so I just whisk together all of the ingredients for the sauce, minus the scallions, and then throw in chopped scallions with the pasta. I've also found that the sauce is still good without the lime. The lime really does add a little something extra, but sometimes I don't have that on hand while I generally have every other ingredient for the sauce in my cupboard or fridge at all times. The sauce also works great with chicken as a different spin on chicken salad.

I would definitely make and eat again. I tried this substutiting Oriental-style rice vermicelli for the wheat pasta and it was awesome. My whole family loved it.
