This was a huge hit at my son's birthday party (well with the adults. I love when I find the Edamame already shelled. I always change something about recipes, but this time I only just added some toaster sesame seeds at the end for presentation.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but this was very tasty and refreshing, as the other reviewers indicated. I served it w/the Salmon Patties and also the Pear Ginger Crumble which were part of that same episode...

Excellent,I didn't have the edamame, so I added 10 more ounces of green beans and substituted kidney beans for black beans. Really great flavor, I will have the leftovers for lunch today. Kids loved it too, sweet tasting. You can probably use as an addition to a green salad too! Next time I will use the correct ingredients!

If you are looking for more ways to eat vegetables, this recipe is worth trying. It makes a lot of salad though, so it's good for a covered-dish affair. I ate it on its own and I put some on a tossed salad. It is very tasty and crunchy. I think it could have used more dressing and possibly more acid though.

    I'd likely make it again.

I'm not too fond of beans, but love edimame, so I decided to try the recipe out. I was pleasantly surprised at how fresh it tasted, yet was heavy enough to eat on its own. I added some dried green peas and some dried cranberries and it worked out perfectly!
