Cook banana's with the fillings after all of the ingredients are added to make it even more delicious though if you making this for a party make two of them they go really fast I doubt they'll last more than 24 hours with a small crowd.

My first attempt was good. it tasted delicious. Although I think I need to half again the crust I couldn't get it to cover enough.

I made it during the summer for a cookout, and it was great. I only had a problem making the whipped cream, but i think because the humidity was so high that the cream had too much moisture and just went to liquid again. Overall great custard type pie!!!

I have not made this yet, but did make Ellie, Chocolate Cream Pie which was decadent.

Waste of $$ is a dope for thinking that homemade pudding thickens on its own. Have you ever made box pudding????? You shouldn't criticize the recipe when you don't know how to bake.

the banana pie is awesome but what id really liked to know is that if i can use strawberries instead of the banana or does the strawberry goes well with that custard??

First pie I ever made and it was absolutely amazing! I thought the banana taste would be overwhelming but it was just perfect. Would definitely recommend making this desert for anyone who's in the mood for a pie.

Just double the recipe and it is perfect. It is not too sugary(for those who do not like those types of pies I really liked it better as the week went on...dessert for the week.
