My husband loves Banana Cream pie and this sounded to go to be true. However, instead of 2 egg yolks, I added 2 eggs and , of course, the mixture didn't thicken. I added a little cornstarch and some banana extract to it and it was saved and a huge hit. It barely got the whipped cream on top before it was about to be cut into. Very good. Comfort food without the guilt!
