This salad really hits the spot. It has so much flavor. The lime in the dressing really makes it taste fresh, and it's certainly better than any dressing I would buy at the store! I use ground turkey instead of beef and I do salt and pepper the meat, but otherwise I'm pretty true to the recipe. I like that I can make the meat early in the week and then have salads for a few days.

I added 2 avocados to the tomato salsa as well. I don't care for tomatoes too much, but this dish was really excellent, and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the fresh taste of the tomato/avocado salsa. Please give this dish a try.

We added avocado to it! Tasty, light easy dish... especially if you have leftover braised meat :

This was a very good recipe and extremely easy as well. The only thing I'd add is some onions to the beef when it first starts cooking because we are big on onion flavor in my family. I think this would also go great with some guacamole. Definitely will be making this again!

Followed this recipe as written though added a little sour cream to the salad. Really good, would make again.

I really like this taco salad since it gets you to make your own dressing rather than use something bought from the store. I'm a big fan of the lime juice since it gives it a good kick too.

I really liked this taco salad. It's very fast to make and tasty. The only thing I did different becuase I love it so much, is add cilantro to the tomatos. Normally I like pace on my salad but this really is yummy!!!
