I make this most mornings, with a few variations to make it even healthier. I often use Keifer, which is like yogurt but thinner and has more probiotics. Some vanilla whey protein powder makes it so delicious, and of course gives more energy. A tablespoon of coconut oil also adds flavor and a large variety of health benefits, (use extra virgin and some ground flax seed for fiber and more protein. All of this together is soooo healthful and tasty. With these things, i'd rate it a 5 for sure!

A wonderful combination of tangy and sweet. I found it to be perfect, but this may be too tart for some. If you like it sweet, taste the smoothie while it's still in the blender and just blend in a bit more honey to taste.

I followed other reviewers' comments and changed the plain yogurt to a flavored yogurt (I use the Cascade brand - it is only sweetened with fruit and juice, skipped the honey and instead added half a banana for sweetness. It was wonderful!
Today, I decided to try the above except swapped non-fat Greek yogurt for my flavored yogurt. It was not the same. I didn't like the tang of the Greek yogurt. It has a little more calories and sugar, but I will go back to the flavored yogurt moving forward.
Also, I blended the yogurt using the liquefy function on my blender for about 20 seconds and it's perfect.

I tried this smoothie as a healthy dessert alternative, and it definately satisfied my sweet tooth. If you think this smoothie isn't sweet enough, use vanilla yogurt instead of plain. I think the little change will probably make a big difference.

This is soooo good. But like others, not quite sweet enough. I added 1/2 banana and that did the trick. Splenda would have been good too. Love it!

I made this recipe because it looked good and it was healthy. It was healthy but not that good. It was a little boring and you could really taste the plain yogurt which is not that good by itself. I would drink it again I guess, but I'm just saying it's not...well.....that flavorful.
