I tried this recipe with my boyfriend for breakfast and we didn't enjoy it at all. We used all the same ingredients and par that the recipe calls for but it didn't taste sweet, and was very bitter. Maybe it was the brand of blue berries or just the recipe.

I'm not a breakfast person and smoothie's have never been my favortie thing....BUT I decided to try this one and want to thank you!
I used Greek Yogurt and Greek honey too....it was delicious and I'm grateful.
I pour it into a pretty glass, It's healthy and starts my day off perfectly.
It's also great to serve at a nice brunch!

Just made this, but used light vanilla yogurt instead of plain. I think it gave it a little extra richness and sweetness. The honey was a good addition., Will be making this again. My husband like it too.

There aren't too many delicious treats that are also good for you- but this is one of them! Made the recipe exactly as written using organic frozen blueberries, organic milk & organic yogurt. Can't get much healthier than that. I actually love to eat plain yogurt by itself so this smoothie was plenty sweet for me - especially with the touch of honey and the sweetness of the berries. Love it!

I love smoothies and bananas, so I altered this recipe somewhat. I use 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup nonfat vanilla yougurt, combined with 1/2 cup or so of crushed ice, 1/2 a large banana and a little vanilla. I mix it with my immersion blender -- so much easier to clean up than a blender or smoothie maker. I drink one of these almost every morning before I work out. They're the best!

I'm drinking my first one now. I used only 1/2 cup of blueberries and a whole banana, no honey and a dash of splenda. Outstanding.

I love this smoothie! Had it this morning and added a tbsp of milled flaxseed and a scoop of acai powder. Going to be a breakfast staple for me from now on. Thanks Ellen!
